Experience
Timothy Carter manages the firm’s strategic finance team. He is primarily responsible for researching and performing investment analysis that support capital investment decisions and that maximize return on invested capital (ROIC). Mr. Carter helps clients formulate and execute flexible investment strategies that are also efficient, profitable, and sustainable.
Before forming Plough-Back Financial, Mr. Carter served as a management consultant with BearingPoint, a global management consulting and information technology Company. Prior to this, he served as a financial and portfolio management analyst with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). Mr. Carter has also provided professional services for small government contractors, Carter & Associates and Syneca Research Group.
Mr. Carter brings cross-industry management experience to his projects. His government client engagements include United States Secret Service (USSS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), DHS Office of Financial Management (OFM), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and the Small Business Administration (SBA). Mr. Carter’s private sector engagements include Arthur Andersen, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, as well as natural resources companies; Vesuvius and BC Hydro.
